A minimalist lifestyle helps us stay alert. Only by spending wisely will you know how to save, so your life will always be filled with a sense of security.
Minimalist living is about controlling material and mental desires. It’s easy to say but really difficult to do. Once you practice, you will definitely be “addicted” to this lifestyle.
Once you get used to minimalism, your living environment, mood and emotions will magically change, making you no longer want to return to your previous state of life.
Minimalist living gives me these 4 things:
1. The living environment becomes more pristine
Starting to live a minimalist life, you have to learn to let go a lot. Most of them are worthless and unnecessary things, causing us to waste time and money. Since then, the living environment has gradually become much more empty and pristine.
That’s not to say that it forces you to throw everything away. An empty room does not mean minimalist. It’s about throwing away or giving away items that are no longer in use, decisively and strongly. Especially the kitchen and wardrobe. Because these are the places where dirty and unnecessary items often accumulate the most.
When you own a neat and tidy room, you will easily find the meaning of life and feel much more comfortable. One thing is for sure, no one enjoys living in a messy, dirty room, right?
2. Doing housework becomes easier and more leisurely
With less furniture, of course housework and cleaning are much easier.
No one likes cleaning, but living a minimalist life helps you enjoy doing it more. When I first saw the messy house, I felt both frustrated and not in the mood to clean it. Now, thanks to less furniture, cleaning doesn’t take much time.
However, living a minimalist life requires you to be diligent. This is definitely a big challenge for those who “don’t work very hard”. Accordingly, you must clean your room periodically, possibly weekly or daily as desired. The more frequently you clean, the easier the job will be.
At the same time, perhaps you don’t know, we can relieve pressure by “purifying” the room. Looking back at the final result, immersing yourself in a pristine living environment, you will feel more loving and meaningful in life. Just try it!
3. Become a cooking master
Before, cooking was like torture. Currently, thanks to adherence to minimalism, cooking has become a habit and a hobby.
Minimalist living emphasizes frugality. Accordingly, cooking at home and then bringing boxed lunches to work is normal. Once cooking becomes a habit, you will receive many benefits, such as saving money, eating hygienically, and also practicing your kitchen skills.
Being able to eat the food I cook is really fun, but being praised for my delicious cooking skills is even happier. Imagine, every time you open a box of food to bring to work and hear the admiration of your colleagues, are you happy and proud? If you don’t believe it, live a minimalist life and practice cooking, then you will know immediately!
4. Improved morale
Minimalist living means letting go of the burden of unnecessary emotions. Don’t compare and calculate pros and cons, learn to let go of distracting thoughts, live simply with everything, and don’t put too much emphasis on gain or loss. Thanks to that, spiritual life is purified, lived happily and comfortably.
At the same time, thinking is gradually trained to become more clear and decisive. Especially in terms of shopping. I’m willing to spend money on what I need to buy, but I don’t spend a penny on what I don’t need.
A minimalist lifestyle helps us stay alert. Only by spending wisely will you know how to save, so your life will always be filled with a sense of security.
